Launch of the 28th China Hainan International Winter Tropical Agricultural Products Expo

Last Thursday, the city of Haikou, capital of the island province of Hainan in southern China, hosted the 28th China (Hainan) International Winter Tropical Agricultural Products Expo.
The expo serves as a major international platform for exchanging expertise and innovations in the tropical agriculture sector and for strengthening trade cooperation between countries producing and exporting tropical products.

This year’s edition features a large number of agricultural companies and institutions from various countries, showcasing a wide range of products including tropical fruits, vegetables, spices, and aromatic and medicinal plants.
Additionally, the expo provides visitors with the opportunity to explore the latest agricultural technologies, irrigation methods, and natural resource management, while also addressing the environmental and economic challenges facing this vital sector.
The expo is also an occasion to reinforce trade relations between China and its international partners, reflecting the country’s commitment to supporting the sustainable development of tropical agriculture and encouraging innovation in production and export.
