The Kingdom of Morocco, through its presidency of the Peace and Security Council of the African Union, organized informal consultations aimed at enhancing dialogue between African countries. This initiative contributes to building bridges of cooperation and understanding among countries undergoing a political transition.
After Burkina Faso, Gabon, and Niger praised this initiative, which they considered “noble,” the three countries expressed their deep appreciation for Morocco’s approach, which focuses on fostering constructive and sustainable dialogue across the continent. The countries acknowledged Morocco’s vital role, which has become an integral part of political strategies in Africa and has even extended its influence beyond the continent to other regions.
Through this initiative, Morocco once again demonstrates its ability to lead efforts aimed at finding peaceful solutions to the political challenges facing many African countries. This initiative is based on the wise vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect him, which prioritizes enhancing peace, stability, and sustainable development in the African continent.
Furthermore, these informal consultations open new horizons for countries undergoing political transformations by facilitating the democratic transition process in line with established African standards, thereby strengthening Morocco’s distinguished position within the African Union and the international community.
