Morocco, Hungary Sign Cooperation Agreement in Film Industry

The agreement, initialed by Abdelaziz El Bouzdaini, Acting Director General of the Moroccan Cinematographic Centre (CCM), and Miklos Erik Tromler, Hungarian Ambassador to Morocco, aims to encourage the production of films showcasing the diversity of the two countries’ culture and heritage.

The agreement also seeks to contribute to developing cinematographic creation and to enrich both countries’ cultural landscapes.

El Bouzdaini told MAP news agency that, “as part of the implementation of the High Royal Orientations in the cultural sector in general and the film sector in particular, this agreement aims to promote the sharing of experience between the two countries, particularly in the field of film co-production.”

The Hungarian ambassador to Morocco highlighted for his part that this partnership would not only strengthen film co-production but also facilitate exchanges of best practices and visits by experts between the two countries, ultimately benefiting the economy, youth, and job creation.

Tromler also expressed his satisfaction with the dynamism of several sectors of activity in the Kingdom.
