Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Bourita received today the U.S. Deputy Secretary of State. This meeting reflects the strength and depth of the strategic relations uniting the Kingdom of Morocco and the United States, whose roots go back nearly 250 years of friendship and cooperation.

During the talks, both sides reviewed the strength of the bilateral partnership between Rabat and Washington, as well as a set of shared regional priorities, in a rapidly evolving regional and international context that calls for greater coordination between traditional allies.

The discussions particularly focused on the importance of strengthening regional stability, considered a key pillar of shared security, while also exploring ways to enhance economic cooperation and open new prospects for investment and mutually beneficial partnerships between the two countries.

People-to-people relations also featured prominently in the discussions, with emphasis placed on the depth of human and cultural ties that reinforce this historic partnership and give it a dimension that goes beyond the traditional diplomatic framework.

This meeting once again confirms the ongoing momentum characterizing Moroccan-American relations, as well as the shared determination to elevate them to more comprehensive and effective levels across all areas of mutual interest.
