Hammouchi Meets Chinese Ambassador to Bolster Security Partnership Ahead of Interpol General Assembly in Marrakech

The Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Mr. Abdellatif Hammouchi, received on Monday, November 10, in his office in Rabat, Ms. Yao Jinsong, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China accredited to the Kingdom of Morocco.

The meeting came as part of the shared commitment of both countries to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of security and to coordinate efforts in addressing security challenges and issues of common concern.

The Chinese Ambassador praised the level of partnership between China and the Moroccan General Directorate for National Security (DGSN), expressing her country’s readiness to further deepen collaboration across various areas to be discussed during the 93rd session of the General Assembly of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol), which Morocco will host in Marrakech from November 24 to 27.

This meeting reflects the continued commitment of the DGSN-DGST complex to actively implementing bilateral security partnerships, aimed at consolidating cooperation both at the regional and international levels.
