Morocco Donates 2,000 Tons of Fertilizer to Support Food Security in Ghana and Strengthen Agricultural Cooperation Between the Two Countries

In a move reflecting the deep fraternal relations and ongoing cooperation between Morocco and Ghana, the Ghanaian Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Ambassador Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, in the presence of the Kingdom of Morocco’s Ambassador, Mrs. Iman Waidil, handed over a large quantity of fertilizer estimated at 2,000 tons to Ghana’s Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
This support comes as part of efforts aimed at boosting crop production and achieving food security in Ghana, where this amount of fertilizer will directly contribute to improving the quality and quantity of agricultural production for Ghanaian farmers.
This initiative embodies Morocco’s positive stance and strong desire to reinforce the bonds of friendship and bilateral cooperation with Ghana, through providing technical and material assistance that contributes to sustainable development and the welfare of the Ghanaian people.
Officials affirmed that this support is but a reflection of the strategic cooperation linking the two countries across various fields, especially in agricultural and developmental sectors, and it enhances shared ambitions to achieve food and economic security in the region.
