Morocco took part on Saturday, November 7, 2026, in the proceedings of the 22nd session of the Executive Council of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD), held in the Libyan capital, Tripoli. The Moroccan delegation was led by the Kingdom’s Ambassador and Director General of the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI), Mohamed Methqal.

During the meeting, Mr. Methqal represented Morocco and delivered an address on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, as part of the Kingdom’s participation in the session, which brought together representatives of the organisation’s member states.

Morocco’s participation reflects its continued engagement in CEN-SAD activities, with the organisation serving as a framework for cooperation among countries in the region across several areas of common interest.
