The UAE: A Deep-Rooted Nation That Needs No Validation from a Troubled Algerian Media

Aldar / Analysis
Once again, Algerian state media has fallen into the trap of hostile rhetoric, choosing provocation over dialogue. In a recent news segment, the broadcaster referred to the United Arab Emirates as a “fabricated state”—a provocative statement that reveals the depth of confusion and disarray characterizing this media outlet, which has strayed far from the standards of professionalism and responsibility.
Contrary to such claims, the UAE is not a temporary construct or a manufactured entity, as some would falsely portray. It is a sovereign nation, founded by the free will of its leadership and people in 1971. In just a few decades, it has become a global model for development, economic progress, political stability, and effective diplomacy.
Today, the UAE stands as a regional power, a respected member of international organizations, and a trusted partner across the Arab world and beyond. Its success speaks for itself.
This is a nation that has reached space, built a diversified economy, and emerged as a financial and scientific hub in the Middle East. Such achievements cannot be diminished by superficial remarks from media outlets disconnected from reality.
Those who hastily throw around accusations would do well to first reflect on their own history and origins before casting aspersions on states that have long outgrown outdated revolutionary rhetoric and hollow slogans of the past.
The UAE has never built its prestige by belittling others. Its rise has been driven by a clear vision, wise leadership, and relationships grounded in mutual respect and cooperation.
And if a response is truly needed, it is best embodied in the UAE’s consistent and quiet achievements—far more powerful than the noise coming from troubled corners of the region’s media landscape.
