Ghanaian President Receives Nasser Bourita, Praises Progress in Partnership with Morocco Since King Mohammed VI’s Visit to Accra

President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, received Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, in Accra on Tuesday, on the sidelines of the second session of the Morocco–Ghana Joint Commission for Cooperation.
During the meeting, President Mahama asked Mr. Bourita to convey his fraternal greetings to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, reaffirming the deep bonds of friendship, mutual respect and cooperation that unite the two countries.
The Ghanaian President also expressed his satisfaction with the significant progress achieved in the Morocco–Ghana partnership over recent years, praising the positive momentum that has characterized bilateral relations since the historic visit of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the Republic of Ghana in February 2017.
The meeting comes as part of ongoing efforts to further strengthen the strategic partnership between Rabat and Accra. The second session of the Joint Commission marks a new milestone in expanding bilateral cooperation, serving the shared interests of both countries while deepening collaboration across political, economic, investment and development sectors.
