Morocco and Poland have committed to further strengthening their bilateral ties to elevate them to a higher level.

During a phone conversation, on Tuesday, between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, MFA Nasser Bourita, and Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Radosław Sikorski, the two sides expressed their mutual will to step up this partnership.

The two ministers welcomed the “excellent bilateral relation” and agreed on the need to raise their cooperation “to a higher level of reinforced partnership,” according to a Joint Communiqué published following the conversation.

This ambition is supported by the economic dynamic between the two countries, with Morocco now being “Poland’s first partner in Africa,” with trade exchange in “full growth,” the Joint Communiqué adds.

To embody this will, Mr. Sikorski invited MFA Bourita to visit Poland “to discuss this in detail and adopt an action plan.”

For his part, MFA Bourita expressed his desire to see Polish businessmen, investors and exporters further engage with Morocco’s economy, mainly citing opportunities related to the 2030 World Cup infrastructure projects, as well as public contracts, services, renewable energies and agri-food.
