A Grand Security Parade in El Jadida Celebrates the 69th Anniversary of the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance

Yesterday, the city of El Jadida hosted a grand and distinguished security parade to commemorate the 69th anniversary of the founding of the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (DGST). The event took place in a festive atmosphere that reflected the historical depth of this key security institution and its pivotal role in safeguarding the Kingdom’s security.

The parade, which featured the participation of various security units, was attended by several prominent Moroccan and foreign dignitaries. Among them was Mr. Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of National Security and the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, widely regarded as the chief architect behind the modernization of this vital security apparatus. Also present was Mr. Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi, President of INTERPOL, along with a number of high-ranking security and diplomatic officials.

This celebration stands as a testament to the advanced path that Morocco’s security system has taken in recent years—marked by the modernization of operational mechanisms, the strengthening of international cooperation in combating crime, and the consolidation of sound security governance principles.
