After a series of successful visits to France, Estonia, Moldova, Croatia, and Hungary, Nasser Bourita, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Abroad, will travel to Madrid tomorrow, Thursday, to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Morocco and Spain.

This visit is part of an effort to enhance political and economic relations with European partners. Bourita is scheduled to meet with his Spanish counterpart at the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Palacio de Viana). The discussions will focus on key issues of great importance to both countries, including migration, security, and regional and international challenges. The meeting will also address ways to enhance economic and trade cooperation, as well as expand cultural relations between the two peoples.

At 12:30 PM, the two ministers will hold a joint press conference to announce the results of their discussions, including agreements and future directions that will be developed in the coming months. This press conference will highlight the significance of this visit in advancing bilateral relations to new levels of cooperation.

It is important to note that the relationship between Morocco and Spain is currently in a phase of expansion, particularly in areas such as security, migration, and economic cooperation, including trade and investment. This visit marks a key step in building a strategic partnership between the two countries, at a time when Morocco seeks to solidify its position as a major supporter of stability in the region.

In the face of growing challenges in the Mediterranean region, Moroccan-Spanish relations serve as a model of bilateral cooperation that combines the realization of both countries’ national interests with the strengthening of regional and international stability.
