Bourita Holds Talks in New York with Egyptian Counterpart on Strengthening Partnership and Coordination between Morocco and Egypt

Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Mr. Nasser Bourita, held talks on Tuesday in New York with Egyptian Foreign Minister Mr. Badr Abdelatty on ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

The talks, held on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, focused on bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Arab Republic of Egypt, as well as ways to further develop them, in accordance with the High Directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, aimed at broadening the scope of cooperation between the two countries to encompass all areas of cooperation.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for the two ministers to underscore the importance of continuing to strengthen coordination and consultations between the two countries on regional and international issues of common interest, particularly those concerning the African continent and the Arab world.
