Morocco to Host Upcoming Joint Ministerial Meeting with GCC States at Initiative of Gulf Countries

This announcement was made during the 8th Morocco-GCC joint ministerial meeting, held on Thursday via videoconference, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassem Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, as well as Their Highnesses and Excellencies, the ministers and representatives of the member States of the Council.
On this occasion, the foreign ministers of the Council’s States praised the deep relations between Morocco and the GCC countries, as well as the sustained efforts of the Kingdom, under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, to reinforce Arab solidarity and elevate the strategic partnership between the two sides to the highest levels.
Morocco’s upcoming hosting of this important ministerial event also reflects the great confidence that the sisterly Gulf countries place in the Kingdom, under the leadership of His Majesty the King.
It further illustrates the strong bonds of brotherhood and cooperation characterizing relations between the two parties, as well as the shared commitment to continuing consultation and coordination on various matters of common interest.
