The Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol, and Decorations announced that His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, may God preserve and assist him, will preside over a religious ceremony on the evening of Thursday, 26th Ramadan 1446 AH, corresponding to March 27, 2025, in celebration of the Blessed Night of Al-Qadr at the Royal Palace in Rabat.

In its statement, the ministry noted that, due to certain movement-related challenges resulting from a previous surgical procedure on his left shoulder, His Majesty the King will perform the Isha and Tarawih prayers while seated, in accordance with the verse: “Those who remember Allah while standing, sitting, and lying on their sides.”

At the conclusion of the statement, prayers were offered to the Almighty, asking Him to protect His Majesty the King, grant him continued health and well-being, and best.
