In a stance that reflects royal wisdom and a strategic vision transcending disputes, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, reiterated Morocco’s sincere openness toward Algeria, calling for a serious and responsible dialogue to rebuild bridges of trust between the two brotherly countries.
His Majesty, who has always considered the Algerian people as brothers united with Moroccans by ties of history and destiny, emphasized in his latest message that the outstretched hand remains extended, and that Morocco remains ready to overcome all obstacles hindering the normalization of bilateral relations.
In the same context, the King expressed his firm conviction that the Maghreb dream can only be realized through the combined efforts of Morocco and Algeria, alongside the other countries in the region. The Maghreb Union, whose birth has been delayed for decades, cannot see the light of day without a shared political will among its fundamental pillars.
His Majesty also highlighted the growing international momentum supporting the autonomy initiative in the Moroccan Sahara, as a serious and realistic solution enjoying the backing of an increasing number of states and organizations worldwide. This support reflects the correctness and steadfastness of Morocco’s position in defending its territorial integrity.
This is a clear royal call to turn a new page in relations between brothers, based on dialogue, mutual respect, and collective work to build a united, prosperous Arab Maghreb capable of meeting common challenges.
