The Kingdom of Morocco has reiterated its firm position in support of the security and stability of the Arab Gulf states, stressing that the security of these countries is an integral part of Morocco’s national security, in line with the strategic vision of King Mohammed VI.
Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, affirmed on Sunday that King Mohammed VI consistently considers the security and stability of the Gulf states to be inseparable from Morocco’s own security.
Bourita emphasized that Morocco’s position is rooted in a clear and long-standing royal vision based on solidarity and strategic partnership with the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, noting that “what affects the Gulf affects Morocco as well.”
He further explained that the Kingdom maintains a constant commitment to supporting the security and territorial integrity of Gulf countries, particularly in the face of growing regional challenges and threats.
These remarks reflect the depth of the historic relations linking Morocco with Gulf states, relations that have been reinforced over the years through political coordination, economic cooperation and mutual support on key regional and international issues.
Morocco’s renewed stance also underscores the importance the Kingdom places on strengthening Arab solidarity and safeguarding regional stability, at a time when the Middle East is facing significant geopolitical tensions.
