The Hungarian Ambassador to Morocco, Miklós Tromler, is conducting an official visit to the city of Dakhla from May 12 to 14, in a move that carries significant political weight and reflects the strength of relations between Budapest and Rabat.

The visit’s agenda includes a series of meetings with several local officials, including the Wali of the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region, the Director General of the Regional Investment Center, the President and members of the Regional Council, as well as the Regional Delegate for Tourism.

The visit will also feature field tours of major development projects in the region, such as the Dakhla Atlantic Port under construction, the handicrafts complex, and the seawater desalination plant, underscoring Hungary’s interest in the region’s economic and investment potential.
