American “Javelin” Missile: A Lethal Weapon Strengthening Morocco’s Defense Arsenal

Washington has approved the supply of Javelin anti-tank missiles to the Kingdom of Morocco, one of the most lethal weapons on the modern battlefield.

This missile is equipped with advanced technology that allows it to target tanks at their most vulnerable weak points. It strikes from above, where armor is thinnest, making it capable of turning armored vehicles into charred wreckage.

The Javelin has demonstrated its high destructive power in multiple combat zones, successfully destroying T-90 and T-72 tanks—two of the most widely used tanks in armies that rely on Soviet and Russian arsenals, including the Algerian army.

Morocco’s acquisition of this weapon represents a qualitative enhancement to its armed forces, particularly given the military developments in the region. It strengthens the kingdom’s deterrence and defense capabilities, providing it with a strategic edge against any potential threats.
