ALDAR/
The latest report from Bank Al-Maghrib on the economic climate survey for the fourth quarter of 2024 revealed that 78% of industrial enterprises consider the economic situation to be “normal,” while 14% of businesses described the current conditions as “unfavorable.”
Opinions varied across different industrial sectors. In the food industry, the vast majority of enterprises (88%) considered the business climate to be “normal,” while 11% felt it was “unfavorable.” In the textile and leather sector, the responses were more varied, with 82% of enterprises describing the situation as “normal,” while 18% believed the economic conditions were not conducive to growth and expansion.
This analysis reflects some of the challenges that certain sectors may face, especially those relying on external factors that may affect business sustainability. At the same time, the survey indicates that the vast majority of businesses in most sectors are not witnessing dramatic changes in the business environment, reflecting a relative stability in the national economic activity.
It is expected that economic institutions in Morocco will continue to closely monitor these dynamics, while working on developing adaptive strategies to address potential economic challenges.
