Lower House Speaker Hails Quality of Cooperation Between Morocco and Rwanda
Speaking during a ceremony held at the Embassy of Rwanda in Rabat in commemoration of the 27th anniversary of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsis, El Malki welcomed the two country’s strong relations and the dynamics of the partnership, as HM King Mohammed VI and the President of the Republic of Rwanda Paul Kagame exchanged several visits marked by the development of an innovative model of South-South cooperation.
The two Heads of State share the same strategic vision for the development of the African continent and believe in its potential, he said, recalling that the creation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) took place under the chairmanship of Rwanda during the 10th extraordinary summit of the African Union (AU).
Talking about the 27th anniversary of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsis, El Malki noted that this remembrance confirms the values of coexistence, respect for others, tolerance, and solidarity, which are achievements for human civilization in terms of the fight against extremism and brutality
