At Trump’s invitation.. Xi Jinping to make state visit to the United States

A spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced on Monday that Chinese President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to the United States from September 23 to 25, at the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump.

The upcoming visit is aimed at strengthening communication between the two countries. During his stay in the United States, the Chinese president is expected to hold talks with his U.S. counterpart on a number of issues of common interest, amid the importance of China-U.S. relations at both the bilateral and international levels.
