After the return to legal time.. students to resume classes at 8 a.m.

The Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports has issued directives to officials and education staff regarding the reorganization of school hours, in line with Morocco’s return to legal time.

The ministry stated that 8 a.m. will be adopted as the official start time for classes across all educational levels and institutions, starting Monday, September 21, 2026.

The ministry also called for class schedules to be adjusted to the new timetable, in order to ensure the smooth running of classes and the continuity of the educational process under appropriate conditions.
