Syrian FM Affirms His Country's Support for Morocco's Territorial Integrity, Welcomes UNSC Resolution 2797
The Syrian Arab Republic, through its Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani, affirmed its full respect for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco and its sovereignty over its entire territory.
This position was expressed in a joint communiqué adopted on the occasion of the official working visit carried out on Thursday in Morocco by Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani.
In the communiqué, the Syrian top diplomat stressed that the Syrian Arab Republic welcomes and supports United Nations Security Council Resolution No. 2797, which constitutes a turning point in the process of seeking a lasting political solution to this regional dispute.
Al-Shaibani is undertaking his first official visit to the Kingdom at the head of a high-level delegation, with the aim of giving strong new momentum to relations between the two brotherly countries.
