The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Mr. Nasser Bourita, represented His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, on Saturday, at the inauguration ceremony of the President of the Republic of Djibouti, Mr. Ismaïl Omar Guelleh.

During this ceremony, which took place at the International Conference Center in the Djiboutian capital, in the presence of several heads of state and government, foreign delegations, representatives of international organizations, members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Djibouti, as well as several other personalities, Mr. Guelleh took the oath of office as President of the Republic of Djibouti for a new five-year term.
On this occasion, Mr. Bourita conveyed to Mr. Guelleh the warmest congratulations of His Majesty the King, may God assist Him, along with His best wishes for the President’s success in his high office, to lead the brotherly Djiboutian people towards further progress and prosperity.

His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, had previously sent a message of congratulations to Mr. Ismaïl Omar Guelleh on the occasion of his reelection as President of the Republic of Djibouti.
In this message, the Sovereign, may God assist Him, expressed His warm congratulations and sincere wishes for full success to Mr. Omar Guelleh in leading the Djiboutian people towards the realization of their aspirations for greater progress and prosperity.
