Moroccan FM Holds Telephone Conversation with Russian Peer

Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, MFA Nasser Bourita, held a telephone conversation on Friday, with his Russian counterpart, Mr. Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

On this occasion, the two ministers welcomed the quality of the relations of friendship and cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Russian Federation, reaffirming their shared determination to continue strengthening and deepening this partnership.

This exchange takes place in the context of the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the adoption of the Deepened Strategic Partnership between the two countries, signed in March 2016 in Moscow during the historic visit of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him.

The two officials also exchanged views on several current regional and international issues, emphasizing the importance of continued consultation and enhanced coordination in order to contribute to the promotion of international peace and stability.
