On the 95th National Day… Saudi Arabia and Morocco Renew Bonds of Brotherhood and Cooperation

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Morocco, Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh, affirmed in a press statement on the sidelines of the Saudi Embassy’s celebration in Rabat of the 95th National Day, that relations between Riyadh and Rabat are “deep-rooted, solid, and growing stronger year after year,” stressing that they are based on continuous coordination and consultation on various issues and positions.

The ambassador explained that the economic dimension represents a priority in the coming stage, noting that the volume of trade exchange between the two countries is still below expectations, and that there are plans to sign new agreements, including an investment promotion agreement, in addition to organizing a joint investment forum in the coming months.

He also pointed out that more than 350 Saudi companies are operating in Morocco across diverse sectors such as health, agriculture, and tourism, alongside major investments by ACWA Power in solar and clean energy projects.

The ambassador concluded his statement by emphasizing that Saudi-Moroccan relations “are not merely official relations, but rather profound fraternal ties between the two brotherly peoples, which we are all keen to strengthen and further develop.”
