As part of King Mohammed VI’s continued commitment to the Palestinian cause, in his capacity as Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency has launched the “Ramadan Iftar” initiative for the year 1446 AH. This initiative aims to provide food assistance to those in need in Jerusalem during the holy month.
This effort aligns with the royal directives to strengthen solidarity with the Palestinian people, especially in light of the difficult economic and social conditions faced by Jerusalemites. As the operational arm of the Al-Quds Committee, the agency is dedicated to implementing humanitarian and development projects that meet the needs of the city’s residents and alleviate their hardships.
The “Ramadan Iftar” initiative includes the distribution of food parcels and meals to impoverished families and orphans, in addition to supporting charitable and social institutions operating in Jerusalem. This initiative is part of a series of programs carried out by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency throughout the year to reinforce the resilience of Jerusalemites and preserve the Arab and Islamic identity of the city.
Through these initiatives, Morocco reaffirms its unwavering commitment to supporting Jerusalem and its people, reflecting its historical role in defending the Palestinian cause and strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and solidarity between the Moroccan and Palestinian peoples.
