Bourita: The Cairo Declaration Reflects a Strong Arab Stance in Supporting the Al-Quds Committee and Highlights the Importance of the Role Played by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency

Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Abroad, reaffirmed, from the Egyptian capital Cairo, Morocco’s firm position regarding the Palestinian issue, highlighting the importance of continuous support for the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and the efforts made to preserve the legal and historical status of Jerusalem.

In his speech during the extraordinary session of the Arab League, held to discuss developments in the Palestinian issue, Bourita emphasized that the “Cairo Declaration” reflects a strong Arab stance in support of the Al-Quds Committee and highlights the importance of the role played by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency in providing both material and moral support to the Palestinians.

The minister also addressed the difficult situation of the Palestinians, especially in the Gaza Strip, stressing the need to reinforce the ceasefire and create the appropriate conditions for reconstruction, which requires a comprehensive political vision to ensure peace and stability in the region.
