On August 8, 2024, Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita, engaged in a telephone conversation with his Japanese counterpart, Ms. Kamikawa Yoko. The discussion centered around the strong bilateral relations between Morocco and Japan, and explored ways to further reinforce these ties.
This dialogue comes in the wake of the “Memorandum of Cooperation for a Reinforced Partnership,” a significant agreement signed on May 31, 2024, which laid the foundation for deeper collaboration between the two nations.
During the call, the ministers also exchanged views on the cooperation between Morocco and Japan within various international and regional forums. Both sides expressed their commitment to continue working together to advance common interests and address global challenges.
