Morocco's FM Receives DRC President's Envoy, Bearer of Message to HM the King
Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita received Friday in Rabat President of the Senate of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde Kyenge, envoy of President of the Republic Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi, bearing a message to His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
In a statement to the press following the meeting, Lukonde Kyenge highlighted the historic ties between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, praising Morocco’s steadfast support for the DRC.
He took this opportunity to emphasize the Kingdom’s active role as a key player in Africa, noting that the meeting provided an opportunity to address several issues of mutual interest.
