The Kuwaiti press has extensively covered the royal humanitarian initiative of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, President of the Al-Quds Committee, aimed at providing additional urgent aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip. This coverage highlighted the prominent role of the Kingdom of Morocco in supporting the Palestinian people, especially given the difficult humanitarian conditions in the region.

Al-Siyassa newspaper reported that King Mohammed VI ordered the dispatch of 100 tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza, including essential food supplies and medicines specifically intended for vulnerable groups, including children and infants. The newspaper noted that this aid would be delivered by plane urgently to ensure it reaches the beneficiaries as quickly as possible.

Meanwhile, Al-Nahar newspaper cited the statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Residing Abroad, released Monday evening, which emphasized that this initiative reflects King Mohammed VI’s concern for directly supporting Gaza’s residents and providing them with humanitarian assistance. The publication also highlighted that these efforts are part of a continuous series of support provided by Morocco to Palestinians across humanitarian, health, and educational areas.

Gulf News also highlighted the instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to send additional aid to Gaza’s residents, considering that this initiative embodies the spirit of Arab and Islamic solidarity and reaffirms Morocco’s commitment to the Palestinian cause, as well as to Jerusalem and its Islamic and Christian holy sites.

It is worth noting that Morocco, under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, has continued for years to provide ongoing humanitarian support to the people of Gaza by supplying food, medicine, and medical assistance. This strengthens the resilience of the population and affirms the Kingdom’s position as a regional and international actor committed to humanitarian and Arab causes.
