During a ministerial meeting held in the city of Praia, Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita, emphasized that His Majesty King Mohammed VI views the Atlantic African space as a region of immense geostrategic importance — a dynamic crossroads between continents and a promising arena for innovation and resilience in the face of global challenges.

This royal perspective reflects a clear Moroccan orientation toward fostering a comprehensive African renaissance — one that does not rely on traditional dependency on global powers, but rather emerges from a South-South approach. It capitalizes on the continent’s rich maritime, energy, and trade resources to shape an independent and influential role.
