In a move reflecting the strong ties between Gabon and Morocco, the Gabonese President highlighted, through his social media posts, the significant role played by the Royal Vision in enhancing the religious influence of his country.

This was evident during his visit to the Hassan II Mosque in Libreville, where he performed the Maghreb prayer in a spiritual atmosphere that underscored the bonds of brotherhood between the two nations and solidarity with Muslims in Gabon during Ramadan.

In his messages to his fellow citizens, the Gabonese President praised Morocco’s leading role in promoting the values of tolerance and moderation across Africa. He emphasized that this vision contributes to strengthening religious coexistence and reinforcing the principles of moderate Islam in his country. He also expressed his gratitude for the efforts made to support the religious presence of Muslims in Gabon, which reflects the deep historical and cultural ties between the two countries.

These statements demonstrate the continued close cooperation between Morocco and Gabon in various fields, including religious affairs. Morocco is a key partner in training imams and structuring the religious sphere in several African countries, following a Royal Vision aimed at instilling values of moderation and tolerance.

This initiative further strengthens Morocco’s position as a strategic partner for Gabon, not only politically and economically but also in the spiritual and cultural spheres. It highlights the Kingdom’s pivotal role in promoting stability and development across the African continent.
