Moroccan Tribute in China: CGTN Celebrates Hajj Karim Mousta and Ambassador Abdelkader Ansari

In a special ceremony held by the Chinese channel CGTN of CMG Group, Moroccan cyclist Hadj Karim Mousta and Moroccan Ambassador to China Abdelkader Ansari were honored, in the presence of a group of African ambassadors and foreign journalists, including a number of journalists.

 

The honor, organized by the Chinese channel, reflects the distinguished relations between Morocco and China, and comes within the framework of appreciation of the efforts made to strengthen cooperation between the two countries. The ceremony was an occasion to honor prominent personalities who contributed to the development of these relations, and the consolidation of diplomatic and cultural ties between the two sides.

Hajj Karim Mousta, a Moroccan cyclist who traveled a distance linking Casablanca to Beijing following Ibn Battuta’s journey, received special honours for his achievement.

Ambassador Abdulqader Al Ansari was also honored for his active role in strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries, and for his continuous efforts in promoting diplomatic and economic cooperation.

The honoring ceremony was attended by many African ambassadors and dignitaries in China, reflecting China’s interest in strengthening its relations with the African continent. The ceremony was also attended by a number of journalists who documented this special moment in the course of Moroccan-Chinese relations.
