“Ammoun” underlined the historical role that Morocco played in advancing the peace process in the Middle East, thanks to its communication channels and the particularity of the human dimension which distinguishes the Moroccan-Israeli relations.
In its article, quoted by several other media outlets including “Al Kalaâ News”, “Al Qoba news” and “Al Anbat”, the Jordanian electronic portal noted that Morocco has always put its relations with Israel at the service of the Palestinian cause, an attitude that the Palestinian Authority itself has supported since the Fez initiative in 1981.
Morocco has an unchanging approach to peace in the Middle East that the Kingdom considers as a forward-looking vision, it said, noting that Morocco has spared no effort to develop its ties with Moroccan Jews for the benefit of peace and the Palestinian cause.
Relations between Morocco and Israel are also a factor for carrying out of a number of social, educational and town planning projects by the Bait Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency.
